NEC JAZZ COMPOSER’S WORKSHOP ORCHESTRA

My new composition “Boston (Without You)”

Although in the Pop, Rock and R&B genre the city of Boston has been mentioned e.g. on Al Jarreau’s ‘L is for Lovers’ (‘…maybe she’s looking for a man in Boston…’), or Steely Dan’s ‘Hey Nineteen’ (‘…sweet things from Boston, so young and willing…’), I have not been aware of a Jazz vocal piece mentioning the city of Boston in a prominent place of the song. Hence my intent was to write an uplifting song about Boston… to be continued
